ATTN NEW YORK: Our next DarkRoom Screening & Salon will be at Mooncalf NYC in Manhattan on Monday, March 31! Come by 332 East 4th St. for films, friends, and surprises. Limited seating, so PLEASE RSVP! Doors 6pm • Films 7pm.
FREE limited edition zines will be available exclusively at our screening, featuring an original ink painting of “The Man Who Lies” by Alain Robbe-Grillet and illustrated by Elizabeth Yoo, who will be on-hand with art prints and merch for sale. Special thanks to the crew at Mooncalf for hosting us.
We also return to Freddy’s Bar & Backroom in Brooklyn next month on Tuesday, April 22. Both events feature all-new lineups of independent films. 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 to attend + donations encouraged for the artists. Come thru!

“A temporary artist-run space in Alphabet City, Mooncalf is an experimental incubator for interdisciplinary art and ideas unencumbered by market and industry trends, focusing on the core values of intellectual honesty, inclusion, and collaboration. Started by Ryan Bock, Luke Ivy Price, and James Lambros, this communal space will strive for true progression in the arts and a counterculture that will feed the imaginations of the curious.
Mooncalf will have the capacity to accommodate exhibitions, intimate performances and screenings, readings, classes, group discussions, and meetings curated by our core members and our extended network.
